The Quran is the central religious text of Islam, which Muslims believe to be a revelation from God (Arabic: الله, Allah). The Quran consists of the Arabic text of the Book of Allah, which Muslims believe to be the word of God, and the narration of the events that occurred in the life of the Prophet Muhammad. The Quran is considered by Muslims to be the most authentic of the sacred books, and is also the most informative.
